This week, I'm demonstrating one of my favorite games for structured conversational practice, giving and following directions. Enjoy!

To help a toddler with following directions, I'd recommend the game Duck, Duck, Dance! by Peaceable Kingdom. It's a fun game with lots of movements! Peaceable Kingdom makes excellent games for all ages and I highly recommend anything by them. If you want something that's not a board game, activities involving cooking, blocks and tool sets where you have a finished product in mind will help your child not only to follow directions, but in forming a plan to complete a task.
Thanks for suggeting, "Backseat Drawing." What would a good game be for toddlers? Thank you!
